Owner and founder Colyn Pentleton is a fully qualified Master Baker and Confectioner, having been in the trade for over 30 years. Colyn trained under a Grand Master and attended some of the best colleges in the North East.
The Farm Bakery was established in 2001. It is based at Lee Moor Farm, Rennington just outside of Alnwick, and this is how we came to call it “The Farm Bakery”. We wanted to create “a great quality product that lasts”.
The Farm Bakery produces freshly baked quality products and delivers to shops, post offices, hotels etc. throughout Northumberland and is always keen to expand it’s customer basis.
We pride ourselves on producing a consistent quality product, at an affordable price.
Unlike other businesses we are not a faceless company. When you get in touch with us, we offer a personal service and if you ring it will probably be Colyn you speak to. We like to visit you from time to time and we can help with merchandise displays, develop new products, and find that extra special bakery item that will enhance your business.
We have customers that we have been supplying for almost 20 years, some from day one, and some that started last week. Our customers range from burger vans to castles, lovely B&B’s to top hotels;
your corner shop to big chain outlets.
We will do all we can to assist your business because if you don’t make money from it, then we won’t.
