Traditional Oven Bottom Turned Northumbrian Stotties


Pack of 4 made with White Flour, approx 5″ across, baked on the stone oven floor to give it a great taste, a denser stottie to hold our favourites like Hot Beef & Gravy, or Pork and Stuffing…

Stotties name comes from when a baker would “stot” the dough off the floor, if it bounced it was not ready… we don’t “stot” it off the floor now, but apart from that they are still made the same as donkeys’ years ago…
